This project is considered one of the largest projects supervised by the office.

The project connects the coastal road from the Al -AQILA region to Marada with a length of 120 km and is implemented by a specialized international contractor.

The value of its implementation is 110,198,934.868 DL in letters, one hundred and ten million, one hundred ninety-eight thousand, nine hundred and thirty-four Libyan dinars and 868/1000 dirhams only.

The project stopped in 2011 due to the war that took place in the country, and the contract was terminated by mutual consent at the end of 2019 .
