A project to provide some cities and villages with drinking water from the Man Made River Project

This project is considered one of the largest projects designed by the office.
The project consists of carrying out the necessary engineering works to supply (23) areas with drinking water from the Man-Made River system located on the JABAL AL-HASAWNEH-AL-JAFARA line and the SADADAH line.- Sirte, and the study areas include the MISURATA sector (TAWERGHA - TAMINA - AL-KARARIM - AL-DAFNIYAH) and ZLITEN sector (ZLITEN AL-MADINA - MAJER - SOUK AL-JUMAH) and TARHUNA sector (TARHUNA city - AL-QUSAY’A - AL-DAWON - AL-KHADRAA - BIR MAJI - SOUK AL-AHAD – SOUK AL-JUMAH - SIDI AL-SAID) This is in addition to some other small gatherings such as Celine, Al-DARWAZA, and others.

The drinking water supply system consists of pipelines with an estimated length of about 242 km, with diameters ranging from 200 mm to 1000 mm, and (12) pressure break tanks ranging in capacity from 1500 cubic meters to 50,000 cubic meters, in addition to (2) pumping stations with a capacity of 48,000. cubic meters / day and head 190 meters, and the second capacity is 4,500 cubic meters / day and head is 100 meters.
The conceptional and hydraulic report of the project were reviewed by the owner’s consultant (Brown & Root North Africa), which is an English-Libyan consulting company that works as a consultant for the Man-made River Authority .
