The project aims to design a water transmission system to supply cities and residential communities in the eastern region of Libya with drinking water from the Man-made River system for the regions of MARJ - AL-ABYAR - SIDI KHALIFA - AL-KWEIFIA - AL-AQOURIA - DARIANA.
The project also includes a collection and balancing tank with a capacity of 24,000 cubic meters, a pipe system with total length of 180 linear kilometers and diameters ranging from 300 mm - 700 mm, and a pumping station with a capacity of 53,000 cubic meters / day and head of 120 meters.

All phases of the project were reviewed by the owner’s consultant (Brown & Root North Africa), which is an English-Libyan consulting company that works as a consultant for the Man-made River Authority.
This indicates the extent of the office’s ability to implement engineering works according to international standards.
